Buy or hire dredgers, pumps, barges and plant

Marine & Dredging Equipment Sales and Hire

We supply dredging and marine plant for purchase, and run a hire fleet for shorter campaigns. Our direct relationships with vetted Chinese manufacturers give competitive pricing on cutter-suction dredgers, amphibious excavators, slurry pumps, floating pipelines and pontoons — with factory inspection, shipping, customs clearance, commissioning and operator training handled end to end. Prefer not to own it? The same plant is available dry or wet hire with delivery Australia-wide.

Overview

Buying dredging plant direct from overseas is cheap right up until it arrives wrong. We inspect at the factory, verify the specification against your actual duty point, and manage freight, customs clearance, commissioning and operator training.

If ownership does not suit the campaign, the same plant is available on dry hire or wet hire with certificated operators and delivery Australia-wide.

Sizing is the part most buyers get wrong. Production is set by material, solids concentration, discharge distance and static head — not by the horsepower on the brochure. We calculate the duty point, then match cutter power, pump curve, pipeline diameter and booster requirements to it, and put the expected cubic metres per hour in writing before any deposit moves.

Leasing and rent-to-own are available on larger units, so councils and contractors can run a campaign on operating budget rather than capital, with the option to convert to purchase at the end of term.
