Structural, pontoon, electrical and fuel dock audits

Marina Site Inspections & Asset Audits

Independent marina and waterfront facility inspections delivered to commercial marine surveying and building audit standards. We assess structural elements, pontoons and gangways, marina electrical and fuel dock systems, and pre-handover defects — then issue a written asset compliance report with photographic evidence and a prioritised remediation schedule your insurer, underwriter or board can act on.

Overview

We inspect marinas and waterfront facilities the way an underwriter or a board wants them inspected: methodically, with photographic evidence, defect severity ratings and a costed remediation schedule.

Because we do not tender for the remediation work, the report is independent — there is no incentive to inflate or bury a defect.

What's included

  • Structural, pontoon, pile and gangway condition assessment
  • Marina electrical, pedestal and fuel dock compliance checks
  • Pre-handover and defect liability inspections
  • Photographic evidence register and defect severity ratings
  • Written asset compliance report with remediation schedule
  • Insurance and underwriter risk-assessment support

Typical jobs

  • New marina handover and defect liability periods
  • Insurance renewal and underwriter risk assessments
  • Pre-acquisition due diligence on marina assets
  • Capital works planning and asset lifecycle reporting

Every engagement is scoped and quoted individually. Send us the details and we'll come back with a written quotation.

How we engage

Scoped and quoted per job

Each engagement is scoped to your facility, berth count and reporting requirements, then confirmed in a written quotation before any attendance. Minimum call-out durations and after-hours conditions are set out in that quotation.
