Australian marina management & berth reservation software
BerthPoint is our own Australian marina management and berth reservation platform, built from the way our dockmasters actually work. Dockmasters run their daily dockwalks on an iPad or iPhone — berth-by-berth checks, pontoon, pile, gangway and service inspections, photo evidence, fuel and pump-out logs, incident reports — while the office sees berth availability, casual and permanent reservations, arrivals and departures, contracts and invoicing in real time. Licensed per berth to Australian marinas, clubs and councils, or bundled with our dockmaster management and advisory engagements.

Overview
BerthPoint is our own Australian marina management and berth reservation platform. It was written from the way Australian dockmasters actually work — a walk down the jetty at first light, berth by berth, pedestal by pedestal — rather than from a generic overseas booking engine with a marina skin on it.
The office sees an interactive berth map instead of a spreadsheet: every berth drawn to scale with its LOA, beam and charted depth, every vessel sitting in it with owner, insurance, survey and contract expiry attached. Drag a vessel to a new berth and the system runs the fit check before it lets you commit.
On the dock, the daily dockwalk is a structured checklist on an iPad or iPhone. Pontoons, piles, fingers, cleats, gangways, power pedestals, RCD tests, fire equipment, spill kits and signage are all captured with a photo, a timestamp and a GPS position. Fail an item and a work order is raised automatically and stays open until it is closed out with evidence.
Power and water metering is part of the same dockwalk. The dockmaster keys or scans each pedestal reading, BerthPoint calculates consumption on the spot, flags anything negative or abnormal, and posts the charge to the berth holder's next statement with the licence fee, casual nights, pump-out and fuel — one invoice, no re-keying.
Insurance is handled on the day, on the device. At check-in the dockmaster photographs the certificate of currency with the iPad or iPhone, or texts the owner a single-use link so they upload it from their own phone standing on the pontoon. Insurer, policy number and expiry are captured, renewal reminders are set, and no gate key is issued until a current certificate is on file.
Everything posts through to the ledger you already run. BerthPoint syncs two-way with MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Business, Xero, Reckon and QuickBooks Online, with GST codes and a chart of accounts mapped per revenue stream and tracking categories per jetty or site — plus journal-level export for Sage, NetSuite and TechnologyOne where councils and larger groups need it. Stripe card payments taken at the fuel dock, in the berth-holder portal and on casual bookings reconcile automatically to the customer account and your ledger.
Berth holders get their own portal for statements, payments, casual bookings, insurance uploads and absence notices, which frees the office from the phone. Everything is retained as an auditable, tamper-evident record for your insurer, your board and your WHS regulator.
Licensed per berth per month to Australian marinas, clubs, councils and multi-site operators, or bundled into our dockmaster management and advisory engagements. Hosted in Australia, supported in Australian hours, developed continuously in-house.
Australian marina management software
Operations sprawl across spreadsheets, paper work orders, whiteboards and apps that do not talk to one another. The dockmaster, service manager, bookkeeper and general manager all work from different versions of the truth.

BerthPoint is the Australian marina management, berth reservation and dockmaster platform built for local conditions. One operating system ties together the front office, the jetty and the yard so every team sees the same vessel, same berth and same balance.
Casual, permanent and seasonal bookings in one calendar. Tap a vacant berth on the plan, capture vessel, hull type and payment, and the office console updates instantly.
iPhone and Android companion for the dockwalk. Record vessels off and alongside, snap condition photos, and complete safety round checklists — all GPS and time stamped.
No more radio calls or end-of-shift paperwork. Movements, meter reads and work orders sync from the jetty to the front office in real time.
Power and water metering, fuel and service charges, on-the-day insurance capture, and invoice-ready exports for MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks and Stripe.

An interactive, step-by-step demonstration: berth enquiry, fit check, quote, agreement, insurance capture, gate keys, allocation, the daily dockwalk and the metered tax invoice — plus your own power and water rate card.
Inside the platform
This is a working sample of the BerthPoint console — the Australian marina management and berth reservation platform the dockmaster sees on an iPhone or iPad and the office sees on the desktop. Tap a vessel on the berth map to mark it off the berth or back alongside; every movement is date and time stamped and flows into occupancy, utilities and billing.

Dockwalk mode: tap a boat on the plan to select it, then use the in/out control to record the vessel leaving or returning. Live, stamped, and synced to the office. Open the iPhone/Android dockmaster app.

Platform modules
BerthPoint covers the full operating cycle of an Australian marina — reservation, allocation, daily inspection, metering, maintenance and billing — so the office and the dock work from the same record.
A live, drag-and-drop plan of your marina rather than a spreadsheet of berth numbers.
Fuel, ship store and dock office takings on one till, reconciled at close of day.
MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage — the marina's ledger stays the source of truth.
Yes — BerthPoint drives electronic gates, booms and roller doors, and logs who went where.
Casual, seasonal, annual and commercial agreements handled in one booking engine.
The daily walk-around, captured as evidence instead of a clipboard.
Pedestal readings taken on the round flow straight into the next invoice.
Berth licence fees, metered utilities and casual visits on one statement.
Every pontoon, pile, pedestal and gangway tracked with a service history.
Auditable records your regulator, insurer and board can actually read.
Owners self-serve instead of ringing the office.
Certificates of currency captured on the day, on the device — never chased by email a week later.

Australian accounting
BerthPoint is an Australian marina management and berth reservation platform, so it speaks to the ledgers Australian marinas, clubs and councils actually run. Berth licence fees, casual nights, metered power and water, fuel, pump-out and ship store all post to the customer account and sync as GST-coded invoices, credit notes, receipts and payments — no double entry, no month-end re-keying.
Two-way sync of customers, invoices, payments and GST codes. Australian payroll-grade chart of accounts mapping per revenue stream.
Invoices, credit notes and receipted payments posted with tracking categories per jetty, marina or revenue line.
Invoice, customer and payment sync for clubs and councils still running Reckon in the back office.
Customer and invoice sync with class-level reporting for multi-site operators.
Take card payments at the fuel dock, in the berth-holder portal and on casual bookings. Payments are automatically reconciled to the customer account and synced to your ledger.
Journal-level export for larger portfolio operators and councils running consolidated finance.
For anything else — a clean, reconciled export your bookkeeper can import in one pass.
Pricing
Priced in Australian dollars, billed by the size of the facility — never per user, never per feature. Overseas platforms charge in US dollars and add booking commissions on top; we don't. Every plan starts with a free 30-day trial of the full platform — no card, no obligation.

Compliance by design
A daily dockwalk app is only worth having if the records it produces are admissible. BerthPoint captures berth movements, dockwalks, incidents and contractor inductions as timestamped, tamper-evident records mapped to the WHS, marine safety, environmental and privacy instruments that apply in your state.
